乾いた土の肌合い

脆く風化したような風貌

いつの時代の、どこの土地のものなのか。

どこからともなく漂流してきたような、遠い過去の痕跡を留めながら、その輪郭には、どこか現代的な造形の美しさが感じられます。

古陶への憧れを抱きながら、現代のプロダクトにも惹かれるというオノエさん。

古いものへの眼差しと、今を生きる自身の感覚。その両方がごく自然に存在し、交わりながら、どこにも属さないような独自の表現へとつながっているのでしょう。

前回の展示会から3年が経ちました。

繊細な感性はそのままに、近年は、より大胆に、自由に表現を広げているように感じます。

ものをつくる喜びが、そのまま作品に表れているような、そんな伸びやかさもあります。

オノエ コウタ

1975年 東京生まれ

1995年 武蔵野美術大学短期大学部 卒業

2005年 陶芸を始める

2018年 オノエコウタとして活動を始める

現在 神奈川県相模原市にて作陶

The dry texture of clay.


An appearance that seems fragile and weathered by time.

As if from another time, another place.
As though they had drifted here from somewhere unknown, bearing traces of a distant past, their forms nevertheless possess a distinctly contemporary beauty.

Drawn to ancient ceramics as well as modern industrial products, Onoe brings together his appreciation for the old and his own sensibilities as someone living in the present.

These two influences seem to coexist and intertwine quite naturally, giving rise to a distinctive expression that belongs to no particular time or place.

Three years have passed since his last exhibition with us.


While retaining the delicate sensitivity that has always characterized his work, his expression seems to have grown bolder and freer in recent years.


There is also a sense of openness, as though the joy of creating were reflected in the works themselves.
